Website terms.
These terms describe use of this website. Individual engagements are governed by the written agreement for that project.
General information
Website content is provided for general informational purposes. Demonstrations are illustrative and are not guarantees of performance or business results.
Project agreements
Paid engagements are governed by written agreements covering scope, price, deliverables, timeline, client responsibilities, acceptance criteria, exclusions, and change requests. If a website description differs from a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
Payment
Every engagement starts with a written scope note. The Sprint is paid in full to begin. Builds are paid half to start and half at handover. Flagship builds are paid in milestones across the build. Payment plans are available on projects over $1,000. Payment is by card or bank transfer through a secure Stripe invoice.
Access and passwords
You will never be asked for your password. Civic North never holds a client password, and every sign-in during a build or install is done by the client on their own account. Work is built and tested first in Civic North’s testing workspace using the client’s materials, then installed in a scheduled screen-shared session, or in a format named in the client's written proposal, with the client logged in. Sensitive test material is anonymized where the content allows, and test copies are deleted from the testing workspace at handover. Each install concludes with a short written record of what was installed and what it connects to.
Review of output
AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Clients remain responsible for reviewing output before using it in business decisions, external communications, or other consequential contexts. Civic North workspaces are designed so that drafts wait for human approval before they are sent or published.
Third-party services
Workspace builds may rely on third-party AI platforms and software. Their availability, features, terms, pricing, and data practices may change and are not controlled by Civic North.
Ownership
Workspaces are built and tested in Civic North’s testing workspace, then installed into the client’s own account. The client keeps the files, prompts, templates, and knowledge guides produced for their engagement, as set out in their project agreement.
