The person who designs your workspace builds it.
Civic North is the Stoneham, Massachusetts practice of Samantha. It serves Stoneham, Wakefield, Melrose, Woburn, Reading, and Greater Boston, and works remotely with owner-run businesses beyond the area.
Building what didn't exist yet
For more than fifteen years, Samantha's work has started in the same place: a role or a process that doesn't exist yet, and a need that is growing faster than an organization can meet it.
At an elder services nonprofit, she was hired as the first Purchased Services Coordinator, a newly created position connecting the intake and contracts teams with a network of more than 80 service vendors. She designed the organization's service coordination procedures from the ground up. When she started, the list of client needs waiting to be matched with a provider ran to twenty pages. The system she built brought it down to two and kept it there. By the time she moved on, the role she began alone had grown into a team of four.
Earlier, she served on a town board supporting local elder services, where she led a refresh of its governance and served as its IT and AI lead. Across these roles, she has managed staffing and vendor relationships at scale.
Civic North brings that same work to owner-run businesses: practices where the owner is the salesperson, the quality standard, and the bottleneck at once, with no operations team to build the structure for them.
Working directly
There is no account team and no handoff. The person who scopes your workspace builds it, installs it with you, trains you on it, and checks in thirty days later to see how it is being used. Civic North takes two builds at a time so each one gets full attention.
The studio practice
Samantha is also an acrylic painter, making large, bright paintings of portraits and contemporary subjects. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in Massachusetts and in London, and her cowgirl raccoon painting hangs at Galaray House’s Boston location. That practice is why the voice work in every build is taken seriously: she knows what it costs when administration crowds out the work itself, and what it means to protect a voice that clients chose on purpose.
Why every build starts with your real work
The underlying AI model is the same one anyone can use. What makes a workspace useful is teaching it what good looks like for your business. That is why every build starts with how the work really happens, uses your real examples as the test set, and includes training on live work. Short-term workshops and longer-term education for collaborators can be arranged when a practice needs more than the standard handoff.
The terms are plain throughout: published prices, written scope, no passwords collected, and a workspace that lives in your account and remains yours.
